“…If you ever find yourself in a position of needing help, call J.D.! Sometimes we struggle with the way our team works, our customers perceive us, we interact within a company… J.D. has been and is a great coach to me and helped me significantly in dealing with adverse issues…”

Online Personal Coaching

We offer a special online personal coaching package, including a personal Human Logic™ Behavior Style profile, a comprehensive Human Logic™ textbook, and five hours of personal online coaching. This package is available for all time zones worldwide.

Why this online coaching program?

We offer a compact and affordable online course that focuses on our Human Logic™ methodology to facilitate the increased demand for remote coaching. The coaching sessions will be conducted 1:1 online in a sequence of 2 + 2 + 1 hours, with one- or two-week intervals. Participants receive a personal Human Logic™ Behavior Style profile and a comprehensive 100-page Human Logic™ training syllabus.

What makes our coaching program unique?

Our coaching program will provide you with a wealth of in-depth information about how to be more effective and successful as a leader, based on our more than two decades of Human Logic™ research. Together we will crack the code of human behavior and prove that human behavior is not something unmanageable or unpredictable but in fact something highly predictable. In great detail, we will cover the strengths and liabilities of people with a variety of Behavior Styles. In this process we will also analyze your own primal needs, your strengths and internal obstacles, your specific leadership qualities, your specific leadership pitfalls, how you manage priorities, time, decision making, and stress, and we cover in detail how to become more successful with the people you work with.

“…Highly recommended! Advance! gave me the insights and tools needed to boost my career. If you aspire to leadership, this is the program for you…”

What is the role of the Executive Coach?

In our role as executive coaches, we support you in identifying your personal strengths and internal obstacles with the aim to become a highly effective leader, able to find the perfect balance between task orientation and empathy. We do this primarily by using our proven Human Logic™ methodology. Unlike a teacher-student dynamic, coaching is more like working in a partnership with the aim to support you in maximizing your professional potential. In our role as executive coaches, we do not “instruct” or “tell” you what to do. Rather, we use proven techniques to elicit your own strengths and resources, so you can define your own direction and map out your best way forward.

How is the online coaching program structured?

As a preparation for this online coaching process, you will obtain your personal Human Logic™ Behavior Style profile, which provides a non-judgmental picture of how other people perceive your leadership style and behavior at work. This profile is instrumental in our coaching process because it gives us valuable information about your primal needs and your strengths and obstacles as a leader. The profile will be obtained through an online survey, which collects your self-assessment compared to the assessment by six peer raters at work. The survey will be conducted two weeks prior to the first online coaching meeting. The report generated from this survey will only be made available to you and remains strictly private and confidential. The survey report and syllabus will be sent to you as pdf-files prior to the first online coaching meeting.

The first step in the coaching process is a  two-hour online meeting in which you will analyze the survey results with your coach, and in which you will develop a deep understanding of the knowledge behind it. This is done through an interactive presentation and discussion on Zoom or Microsoft Teams. You will clearly identify your strengths and development opportunities and make a concrete action plan for the two-hour follow-up meeting scheduled for one or two weeks after the first meeting. The action plan will include one or more cases to be worked out with the aim to improve the working relationship with selected people at work. These cases of course remain strictly confidential.

The second step is a two-hour follow-up meeting, in which you will discuss the progress made with the agreed action plan and adjust where necessary. In case the first action plan is completed successfully your coach and you will set a new action plan for the second follow-up meeting.

The third step is a one-hour second follow-up meeting in which you will evaluate your progress with your coach, and in which your coach will answer possible remaining questions. With your coach you will evaluate the results of the online coaching program and if and when necessary agree to a possible follow-up process. After completing the process, you will receive a certificate of completion.

What does our on-site coaching process typically look like?

Our on-site leadership coaching process is highly practical, pragmatic, and straightforward. We specifically focus on your professional surroundings, and all objectives, actions, tasks, and assignments will be focused on your daily professional practice. Each client may have specific needs that we aim to tailor our approach to. Typically, however, our coaching approach follows six steps:

  1. Intake Meeting: the purpose of the intake meeting (typically half a day) is for the client and coach to get to know each other personally, clarify why the coaching is required, fine-tune the client’s specific coaching needs and objectives, clarify what the client can expect, agree to the individual steps of the coaching process, agree to confidentiality, communication, and reporting, and agree to the coaching schedule.

  2. Planning Meeting: prior to the planning meeting, the client will participate in a Human Logic™ Behavior Style Survey, and – if required – a Leadership Skills Survey. During the planning meeting (which typically takes a full day), the coach and client analyze the survey results and use these results to draft a concrete action plan addressing the client’s specific coaching needs.

  3. First Follow-Up Meeting: in the first follow-up meeting (typically half a day, approx. two weeks after the previous meeting) client and coach analyze progress made with the identified objectives and actions, and adjust the actions as required. Client and coach discuss the progress and hurdles in great detail and fine-tune the actions and/or define the next actions towards the second follow-up meeting.

  4. Second Follow-Up Meeting: in the second follow-up meeting (typically half a day, approx. two weeks after the previous meeting) client and coach analyze progress made with the actions defined in the first follow-up meeting and adjust the actions as required. Client and coach discuss the progress and hurdles in great detail and fine-tune the actions and/or define the next actions towards the third follow-up meeting.

  5. Third Follow-Up Meeting: in the third follow-up meeting (typically half a day, approx. two weeks after the previous meeting) client and coach analyze progress made with the actions defined in the second follow-up meeting, and adjust the actions as required. Client and coach discuss the progress and hurdles in great detail and fine-tune the actions and/or define the next actions towards the wrap-up meeting.

  6. Wrap-Up Meeting: in this final meeting client and coach will assess the progress made regarding the client’s specific coaching needs and objectives as defined in the intake meeting and will draft a final report. In case the objectives were reached, the client will receive a personal certificate of completion.
